With the introduction of both new document cameras and connected in-classroom audio systems, your audio settings have more settings than ever.
Managing Windows Sound Settings
Windows allows you to pick your default (system) audio output and input device.

Open Settings → System → Sound - Select your default (system) audio output device from the dropdown menu at the top
- Your options are:
Speakers (Conexant ISST Audio OR Realtek Audio)
Speakers is the 3.5mm audio cable connection to your room audio system from the back of your docking station. In most classrooms this is the one you want to choose.
- Headphones (Conexant ISST Audio OR Realtek Audio)
EPSON PJ (Intel Display Audio)
Epson PJ is the HDMI connection to your projector. Which in turn is connected to your room audio system.
Speakers (Sound Blaster Play! 3)
Do not select Speakers (Sound Blaster Play! 3)! It is not connected in 99.9% of situations.

Microphone (Sound Blaster Play! 3)
Microphone (Sound Blaster Play! 3) is the audio connection from your room audio system. Choose this one to use your lanyard microphone around your neck.
Internal Microphone (Conexant ISST Audio) OR Microphone (Realtek Audio)
Internal Microphone is the microphone at the top of your laptop screen.
MX-P2 HD Audio (MX-P2)
MX-P2 HD Audio is the microphone on your new document camera. By default the microphone is disabled on the document camera itself. Click the link below to learn how to turn it on if you want to use it.

Zoom can use the settings you choose above, or you can tell Zoom to use a specific output and input.
