Our new computers run Windows 10, the newest version available from Microsoft.

Microsoft has changed how updates work in Windows 10 and thus approximately once per year, there is a new major version of Windows 10. These are identified by the version number (1511, 1607, etc.) and the codename for the version (1511 RTM, 1607 Anniversary Update, etc).
